Oil study of an active cloud

A small oil study of the life within a moving cloud

Oil painting of active cloud

Oil study of an active cloud       6x8ins.       Oil on Canvas           £110

Working on this for days in the studio after an initial outdoor beginning I realised just how tiny the canvas was considering the amount of sky I was trying to fit inside it! …but if it takes a bit longer to paint then so be it.
I’m always intrigued by the energy of a moving sky. It’s a living entity to me.

Hi Ken. Your paintings inspire me and I wondered if it would be possible to feature one or two of then on my website? It is a website for a book. Thanks for replying if interested.

Gorgeous. It looks very much like the area I live in especially in the summer with clouds (storms) rolling in Ontario Canada

Thanks very much Joan. I reckon I’d like that landscape. I love your Group of Seven painters too.
